Who we are:

We are a fun-loving group of airplane fans. We meet on the third Saturday of each month at South Oaks Aerodrome in Winterville, NC at 10:00 AM

Where we meet:

It's official! As of November 2007, the new EAA 1423 HQ is open! A big "THANK YOU" to Charles Lewis for providing a really great facility, cleverly disguised as a tobacco barn. Come check it out, it's really neat!

From Greenville, drive south on Arlington until it changes to County Home Road. Then drive six more miles and turn right on South Oaks Drive. Here's a link to South Oaks on Mapquest and here's close-up map swiped from their site:

Note: this is an old aerial photo. There was a drainage ditch running across the runway!
